VIEWPOINT – Hello West Texas!

Elizabeth and I are gearing up for a long stay (12 days) in Anaheim, California, attending General Convention. We are through the driven stage of trying to get every thing done and emerging from the panic stage moving into the resignation stage and not far from the “oh, what the hell stage!”

We will be staying at the Hilton Anaheim, just across the street from the Convention Center. We should arrive by noon tomorrow (Monday, July 6).

I have been assigned to be the lawyer to review the resolutions assigned to the Prayer Book, Liturgy and Music Committee (from whence will come resolutions regarding same sex blessings). I will also be spending time on the convention floor with the West Texas Deputation.

My commitment is to blog daily (?). We’ll see!
