VIEWPOINT – We needed two sherpas to get all our luggage to the airport. We made the journey in five hours—a journey that would have been perilous and taken months had it been taken when the Episcopal Church was formed in the late 1785. We boarded a strange looking contraption that many would have bet their last dollar could not get up in the sky, much less stay there. We landed at John Wayne airport, that icon of what so many hold near and dear. We are having General Convention next door to Disney Land. All are believers in a faith that goes back thousands of years—some even practice it. Makes you kind of think, doesn’t it?
