Abide in Me II follow-up
On June 5, 2010, the diocese hosted Abide in Me II, our annual leadership conference, this year with speaker Reggie McNeal. McNeal introduced the idea of becoming “missional” churches, taking the church outside of its walls and becoming a people of blessing in our communities.
In a follow-up survey after the event, 85 percent of respondents indicated they want to continue the conversation about being a missional church. This page will be one of our gathering places for that conversation to take place. Here we will share stories, offer ideas, and explore our experiences as we offer our work to God.
Our follow-up will include publication of Continuing the Conversation, an e-newsletter sent to those who attended Abide in Me II and all others who are interested.
