Christian Faith in Action
The goal of the Departmen of Christian Faith in Action is based on our baptismal covenant: to strive for justice and peace among all creation through individual and corporate action, advocacy and interfaith cooperation.
The CFA Department seeks to:
1. Facilitate and coordinate individual parishes’ access to outreach resources and expertise
2. Seek, identify and publicize examples of successful outreach activities being carried out by individuals, groups and parishes within the diocese
3. Encourage churches to work together in endeavors of mutual interest
4. Identify and recommend outreach activities in need of funding and facilitate funding from grants and gifts
5. Strengthen the connections and relationships among parishes within the department
6. Conduct conferences for educational and advocacy purposes
7. Promote the awareness of all God’s creation as sacred
