A retreat center: a place to get away from the frantic pace of life. A place to be still, to learn from God and others, a place to rejuvenate your spirit. We have provided a list of a number of retreat centers both in Texas and around the country for you to investigate and find what calls to you. At Camp Capers, the retreat house is known as Sol y Sombra. For details go to: The Retreat House at Camp Capers. This one-bedroom cabin is available for personal and private retreats for parishioners of the Diocese of West Texas. There is a fully equipped kitchen and linens are provided. At Mustang Island, there is a one-bedroom apartmentknown as La Casa de la Playa available for personal and private retreats for parishioners of the Diocese of West Texas .
