‘Come and Go With Me: A Collection of Stories and Lessons’

Dr. Marthe Curry, World Missions Director for the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas, recently released devotional, Come and Go with Me: A Collection of Stories and Lesson, is available to order, and all proceeds from the book will benefit the many ministries of the diocesan World Missions department.

Come and Go with Me: A Collection of Stories and Lesson includes a compilation of motivational blog entries that Curry was called to write, urging readers to persistently seek a deeper connection with Jesus Christ. In the book, Curry extends a heartfelt invitation for readers to meet ordinary individuals who are coming to know Jesus through the disciplines of study, prayer, obedience, and the lessons they learned from moments of failure. These captivating stories are thoughtfully arranged around guiding principles, offering profound insights into discerning God's guidance, cultivating a personal bond with the divine. Illuminated throughout the devotional is the invisible presence of a faithful Lord who sustains individuals on their journey and unearths their unique gifts and wisdom as they walk alongside Curry with the Father, and each other. The book also features prompts for readers to reflect as they traverse the path set by Christ.

"Life unfolds as a voyage marked by trials, obstacles, disappointments, and triumphs. We are bestowed with guiding markers, companionship, encouragement, and an abundance of grace necessary for our spiritual maturation and ultimate heavenly destination," Curry articulates. She further adds, "Every narrative and lesson within this volume includes a reflection segment, offering readers the opportunity to process their own life challenges."

When asked about her desired takeaway for readers, Curry responded with a hopeful wish, saying, "I aspire for readers to embark on this journey with me through the pages of this humble volume. May we all continue to find joy as we journey together in the footsteps of Jesus."  Click here to order or contact Catherine Markette for more information.
