Please join World Missions and St. Mark's Episcopal Church for "Becoming a Barnabas," with the Rev. Canon Chuck Robertson, Ph.D., Wednesday, October 18 at 6:30 p.m. in St. Mark's Gish Hall (315 E. Pecan Street, San Antonio). There is no charge to attend this event. The presentation will be followed by a book signing of his book, Barnabas vs. Paul: To Encourage or Confront, which includes a foreword by Bishop Desmond Tutu. Everyone is invited to join St. Mark’s, San Antonio for their regular Wednesday night dinner (5:00 p.m.) and Service of Evening Prayer (5:30 p.m.), prior to the book signing event.

The Rev. Dr. Chuck Robertson has served as Canon to two presiding bishops of The Episcopal Church, visiting professor at various seminaries and universities, general editor of a theological book series, and senior review leader for the recently released 30th anniversary NRSV updated edition of the Bible. Robertson oversees The Episcopal Church’s Office of Government Relations, Office of Ecumenical & Interreligious Relations, Office of Global Partnerships, and Episcopal Migration Ministries.
A lifelong member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Robertson has served on various national and international boards and worked with the U.S. State Department, the White House, and the United Nations. An author/editor of over a dozen books, he also is a producer of the upcoming documentary A Case for Love.
