The Rt. Rev. David Reed has designated February 5, the Fifth Sunday after the Epiphany, as Camp Sunday 2023. Camp Sunday is a time to share stories of the transformational love and community that takes place at our diocesan camping programs, to invite families and campers to sign up for sessions of Summer Camp or Family Camp at Camp Capers, Mustang Island Conference Center, and Duncan Park in 2023, and to raise scholarship funds.

Each year, approximately one-third of all camper families rely on partial or full scholarships in order to participate in this vibrant ministry of our diocese. Please mark your church calendar to celebrate this special Sunday. Let the appointed Lectionary readings for Sunday, February 5 help you tell these stories. There are three ways for congregations and individuals to give to the Camps Annual Campaign:

1. Online, at the link above.
2. Text "Camp" to (210) 796-6805.
3. Mail a check to the diocesan office*, made out to "DWTX" and labeled "Camp Sunday."
