College and Young Adult Ministries Pilgrimage to Camino Santiago
The Camino de Santiago, also known as the Way of St. James, is a network of pilgrimage routes in northwest Spain that lead to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Tradition holds that the remains of the Apostle Saint James the Greater are buried within the cathedral. The Camino dates back to at least 800 AD and is Europe's oldest, busiest, and most well-known pilgrimage route. Since 1993, the Camino has also been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
