Spiritual Retreat in Recovery # 119: "Breathing Under Water: A Spiritual Adventure in Recovery" will take place at Camp Capers, May 5 - 7, 2023.

The Rev. Sam Hunnicutt, Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Junction, will be the Spiritual Leader, guiding participants through the theme, "Breathing Underwater: A SpiritualAdventure in Recovery," and based on the book from famed author Richard Rohr, a complimentary copy will be included with registration. Onsite services, topical spiritual insight, and pastoral care are provided. In addition to various break-out session offerings, ample time is set aside for individual exploration. All friends in recovery are welcome, and no church affiliation is required.

Hosted by the diocesan Recovery Commission, the Spiritual Retreats in Recovery are weekend retreats open to anyone in recovery from alcoholism or other addictions, and to families and friends affected by the disease of addiction. Members of AA, NA, ACA, Al-Anon and other recovery practices share their experience, strength, and hope in a community of love and support, exploring what it was like, what happened, and what we are like now.

Registration Rates:

Cabin Rate, Holds 4 - 6 People: $155 per person (includes 2 nights lodging and 5 meals)
Commuter Rate: $100 per person (includes 5 meals and no lodging)

Lodge Room, Single Occupancy Room: $450 per person (full, waitlist available)‍
Lodge Room, Double Occupancy Room*: $250 per person (full, waitlist available)

Optional Activity Registration:

High Ropes Course (Big Swing, Climbing Wall, Zip-Line): $20 per person
Low Ropes Course (Cooperation Course): $15 per person
