A reception showcasing selected pieces of beautiful tapestries created by women in Uganda that are part of the Threads of Blessing ministry will be held at Cappy’s Restaurant, 5011 Broadway in Alamo Heights, on Tuesday, July 9 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Threads of Blessing exhibit, which is currently on display at the restaurant, will run through Monday, July 15. All proceeds from each piece sold will be sent to the original artist in Uganda.
