About our Presenter

Kate Bowler is a Duke professor, podcaster, and author with a single mission: giving you permission to feel human. She is the author of the wildly popular Everything Happens for a Reason (And Other Lies I’ve Loved). After years of being told her cancer was incurable, she was declared cancer-free.
