"God's People Speak to God:" Spring 2023 Online Study with the Wisdom Years Ministry

Starting April 20, join the Wisdom Years Ministry for a six-week, online study of the Psalms.

For the Israelites, one expression of their relationship with God spilled out in the psalms they prayed and sang. In the Psalms, the people praised God and argued with God and thanked God and got angry with God. All emotions we know today. In this six-week study, participants will be invited to make the psalms their own prayers and songs, applying them to life today.

The Spring Study will gather weekly on Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. Central Time, via Zoom, for discussion and small-group conversation. Each week participants will look at the variety of Psalms the Israelites relied on as they lived out their relationship with God; identify their own desire to connect with God through reading the psalms and group discussion; and experience a community that provides a safe space, honesty, and acceptance

The material for this six-week study (April 20 to May 25) will be posted on the Wisdom Years website and is ideal for individual study or use by congregational small groups. The material will include readings and questions for reflection.
